How to book
1. Please make an inquiry on our website (exact indications concerning dates and number of persons are important). The rent can already be calculated on the website.
2. Important: Your inquiry is not binding!
3. Within 12 hours we verify the availability and send you a correspondent confirmation or an alternative offer. Then you can decide whether you want to book the requested accommodation.
4. In case you want to book, you have to pay the required advance payment within the indicated period (usually 3 working days). We accept bank transfer, PayPal and credit cards.
5. Once we receive your prepayment, we will send you a binding booking confirmation with the exact address of your accommodation and the contact details of your landlord.
6. The rest payment usually has to be paid upon arrival in cash to the landlord. Yet our booking confirmation will inform you in detail about this.
Important: If you don't pay the advance, your inquiry expires automatically. In this case there are absolutely no costs for you.

Villa Marilou is a lovely country-house located on the countryside south to Lucca, in direction of Pisa within the tiny village of San Giusto di Compito. This is a particularly beautiful area marked by an attractive landscape cut into smooth hills and renowned for its natural springs and local olive oil. The back of the house is surrounded by a 1.000 sqm sized garden covered with olive trees, among them there is a beautiful swimming pool (7,90 m x 4,50 – depth 1,30 m) partly set in the earth within the natural terraces of the ground. Guests have at their disposal in the garden also table, chairs and sun-lounges for relaxing leisurely in the shadow of the olive trees.
The house is semidetached (being attached on one side to another house which is not inhabited). It was entirely restored by the owners with great care and converted into a lovely holiday home which consists of: entrance within 6 steps and a small paved area adjacent to the house, spacious living room with a beautiful stone fire-place, 2 sofas, table, chairs and SAT-TV. On the left of the living room there is large kitchen with sink, stove (4 flames)/oven, dish washer, microwave, American coffee machine, Espresso coffee machine, fridge/freezer, exit door onto the garden and the pool area. From the kitchen access to a small bathroom with wc, bidet, shower, basin, washing machine, clothes horse, iron and ironing board.
A beautiful stone and wrought iron staircase leads from the living room to the 1st floor where there are 1 spacious double bedroom painted in red and furnished with 1double bed, 1 large guard robe and 2 chairs. 1 spacious and comfortable bathroom covered with blue tiles with bathtub, shower, wc and bidet. 1 twin bedroom with two wrought iron single beds (which may be turned into a double bed) and guard-robe. In both bedrooms there are 2 windows facing south which receive much sunlight.
Stone and wrought iron staircase to the 2nd floor which has been upgraded into a beautiful attic room with slanting ceilings and walls with visible stones. In the attic room there are 1 (walkthrough) twin bedroom (upon request a further bed may be added) and 1 spacious double bedroom with guard-robe, chest of drawers and en-suite bathroom. In the attic room there is a small utility room which remains closed.
For the security of small children the stairs which lead to the attic room are secured by a door on one side and by a small gate on the other side. Furthermore, families with children may have available 1 baby bed (from 0 to 3 years) and 1 high-chair.
The house has been furnished with great care and taste by the owners who have lived here for a while. You will notice immediately the warm atmosphere that they were able to create in each room by retaining original features like exposed beams, terracotta tiled floors and wrought iron elements.
Colle San Giusto is the ideal place for those who like to be in close contact with nature. The surroundings of the house and their beautiful landscape offer endless possibilities for hiking, walking and riding. Close to the house you will find the beginning of hiking path N. 7 of the CAI (local mountain sports club). This path will lead you on a 7 Km walk to Santallago, a lovely place on the mountains Pisani with large meadows for picnics. In the surroundings there are also mountain bikes paths.
You should not miss also a visit to the popular Tuscan towns like the nearby Lucca, Pisa and Florence and to the beautiful coast of Versilia which may be reached with only 30 min of highway.
From 17/03/2012 till 02/06/2012 and from 22/09/2012 till 20/10/2012 the house may be rented by 4 + 1 people with a reduced price: in this case the attic room will remain closed. The weekly rental price is 775,00 € for the low season and 1016,00 € for the middle season. The final cleaning amounts to 80,00 €. At Easter and Pentecost this option is upon request. Please, check with us if it will be possible.
Please, note: The final cleaning does not include the cleaning of the stove. The clients are kindly required to leave the stove clean and tidy.
Clients are not allowed to bring linen and towels outside in the garden or to the pool area.
