How to book
1. Please make an inquiry on our website (exact indications concerning dates and number of persons are important). The rent can already be calculated on the website.
2. Important: Your inquiry is not binding!
3. Within 12 hours we verify the availability and send you a correspondent confirmation or an alternative offer. Then you can decide whether you want to book the requested accommodation.
4. In case you want to book, you have to pay the required advance payment within the indicated period (usually 3 working days). We accept bank transfer, PayPal and credit cards.
5. Once we receive your prepayment, we will send you a binding booking confirmation with the exact address of your accommodation and the contact details of your landlord.
6. The rest payment usually has to be paid upon arrival in cash to the landlord. Yet our booking confirmation will inform you in detail about this.
Important: If you don't pay the advance, your inquiry expires automatically. In this case there are absolutely no costs for you.

This prestigious mansion is situated in the ancient hamlet of Valgiano, on a panoramic spot. These hills create thanks to the mild climate an ideal base to produce wine and olive oil.
The strada del vino lies in the vicinity and where many farms are located at which sell local products or offer tasting. Il Palazzo disposes of an ideal position to make strolls or bike tours on the mountain of the Pizzorne or to discover the historical villas such as Mansi, Torrigiani or Reale.
Within a few kilometres you reach the city of Lucca, the coast of the Versilia or the mountains of the Garfagnana. You have the choice between a cultural or a holiday in the outdoors. Villa Alara forms part of a fruitful farm and disposes of a private garden equipped with table, chairs, sun-umbrella and barbeque. There is a swimming pool at the guests' disposal (set in earth, 7 x 4m, deep: 1.20m) to be shared with other 2 houses.
Entrance on the ground floor: kitchen,cum,living with stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dish washer, filter-coffee-machine, fire-place, a spacious living room with frescos at the walls, equipped with table, couches and armchairs, 1 double bed settee, exit onto the garden, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with tub/shower, wc, bidet. 1st floor: 2 double bedrooms (one can be converted into a twin bedroom), 1 bathroom with tub/shower, wc, bidet. Washing machine at exclusive disposal of the guests.
The holiday home is well furnished – some rooms with frescos. The kitchen is furnished in country style. The swimming pools lies 50m from the holiday home and is accessible within a few steps. As Villa Alara is part of a farm, guests have the possibilities to buy directly wine, olive oil or honey. Parking within the property.
